Environmental Management Center (EMC) in Serbia will provide efficient emission monitoring and reporting within Serbian Agency for Environmental Protection (SEPA), connecting business sector, environmental authorities and relevant EU institutions.
The project will increase the capacities of SEPA, industry, public utilities and government authorities through development of EMC organizational infrastructure and software support with implemented models of emission monitoring and reporting towards national institutions and EU.

Eight New Clients of the Environmental Management Center

At the Promotional event "Reporting for Sustainability II", which launched the second phase of the project "Setting up Environmental Management Center In Serbia”, officials of the Serbian Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) called all interested companies to apply for remaining free licenses that allow companies to become new clients on the project. А great number of companies responded to this invitation and eight more companies were chosen in which new reporting system will be implemented. With new Memorandums of Understanding signed by end of December 2011 the selection process is concluded between companies in which the system for environmental accounting and reporting software "TEAMS" will be implemented free of charge as well as Client solution for every company. The process of joining new companies will continue after the project period, that is May 2013.

Workshop for First Clients on the Project in Arandjelovac

Director of the Serbian Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) invited the first client-partners on the project to system handover and three-day training in "Izvor" hotel in Arandjelovac from Wednesday 22nd to Friday 24th February 2012. Representatives of the first two companies on the project were in this way effectively introduced to EMC software solution for their company within the system for environmental accounting and reporting software "TEAMS".
